Research Associate/Senior Research Associate

We are seeking an outstanding candidate for the role of Research Associate/Senior Research Associate Scientist who will be a member of our Cell Biology group.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cell culture
  • Molecular and cell-based assays
  • Routine maintenance of equipment/laboratory
  • Writing technical reports, protocols, and operating procedures.
  • Participation and presentation of data at group meetings

Qualifications and Skills

  • BS or MS in Biology or related field with 0-2 years’ experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
  • Proven tissue culture experience is a MUST
  • Experience with Cell characterization assays
  • Experience with standard molecular biology, nucleic acid extraction, and PCR techniques
  • Experience with culturing stem cells, handling tissues, isolation of primary cells, microscopy, flow cytometry experience a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Goal oriented, organized, capable of working on multiple projects, and able to execute to timelines that meet company goals
  • Local candidates in the greater Boston area are preferred.
