Jeff Bouchard was the Manager of Control System’s at Harvard Apparatus from March 2012 to the Company’s spin-off from Harvard in November 2013. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Bouchard was a self employed consultant Providing Solutions for manufacturing companies around process development and monitoring. From 1996 to 2010, Mr. Bouchard performed many rolls as a Vice President and founding member of the start-up company Techni-Met, Inc. Rolls included Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Information Technologies, Quality and Sales/Marketing. Techni-Met was sold in 2008 to Brush Engineered Material, Mr Bouchard remained on staff during the change of control until 2010. From 1987 to 1996, Mr. Bouchard performed many rolls as a Director reporting directly to the CEO for the Scharr Group which included four manufacturing companies Scharr Industries, Scharr West, Gold Foil, Inc. and Avanti Machine, Co. The areas covered by Mr. Bouchard included, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Operations and Quality. In 2016 Mr. Bouchard was awarded by National Instruments an Engineering Impact Award and a Humanitarian Award for his work at Biostage.
